Toy Industries of Europe (TIE), an international not for profit association with its registered offices at 1000 Brussels, Boulevard de Waterloo 36, Legal Persons Registry (Brussels) 0444.581.979, respects your privacy. Our privacy principles embody the applicable laws and regulations dealing with privacy and handling of personal information.

If you are a member of TIE, we usually collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, postal address, in order to be able to contact you, as well as your job title or position and your expertise and interests.

II. Collecting your information using this website
We generally only collect personally identifiable information from you when it is provided voluntarily by you.

When you visit this website or download information from it, we make a record of your visit and record information such as your internet address and the date, time and duration of your visit to the website.

TIE also collects information such as the pages our users access, the documents they download, links from other sites they follow to reach our site, and the type of browser they use. However, this information is not used to identify you nor connected with other identifiable information, is immediately put in aggregated form and is only used for statistical and website development purposes.

For the same purpose outlined under II above, we may share information about TIE’s members with other members of the association (i.e. national toy associations or direct member companies or affiliates), whose list is available at http://www.tietoy.org/about/tie-organisation/our-members/, or strategic partners, such as the EU or EEA institutions (as well as their members, agents or services).

TIE may, at its discretion, use third party processors or suppliers acting on its behalf and under its instructions, notably suppliers of web-related services, and disclose personal data to them as necessary for the performance of their services.

TIE takes – and requires that any service provider and/or third party processor processing personal data on behalf and under the instructions of TIE take – appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction, and against any other unlawful form of processing of information in accordance with the applicable law.
